Brandon | OSes this fallIn the next few months 3 of the most popular OSes will have releases, Windows, Mac OS, and Ubuntu Linux. The tech media likes Win7, and Mac OS X Snow Leopard is talked about, but Ubuntu not so much. Which release are you most excited about, why? Which least excites you? Which do you think you'll use most? For me Mac OS X Snow Leopard is most exciting, because I will be using it as my everyday OS, and its the kind of upgrade OSes should have: one to make things faster. I actually am ordering a 4GB RAM kit, and between the new OS and RAM, my macbook should be speedy. The next most exciting is Win7, because as a sworn enemy of Microsoft, I hope to see it flop like Vista, even if it seems unlikely. Ubuntu is great as it is, I'm sure a new release will be better, but in a less dramatic way. | 2009-08-11 | 2:51 PM |
