BrandonMy Hardware
I haven't done much news worthy with my GUI, well I did work on redoing the look, but its still being worked out, so I figured I'd post something else: My shelf, with the majority of my machines. My Athlon, Dual Core 2.6Ghz, 2GB DDR800 RAM, and a USB floppy drive :P "Nitro", the PowerMac 8500, my 5500, my Thin Client and Gigabit router are on the right under the monitor. My PCI, RAM, and fan drawer, under it all is an old 10x 24port hub, which runs well, but is big and outdated by the gigabit. Drives. Well spare ones anyways. My cable drawer. My Keyboard,Mouse, Mic bin, its a 30 gallon tub and its about full. Not Pictured: -My MacBook -A laptop and 2 desktops that I let my siblings use and store in their bedrooms -My heatsink/Case component drawer -My Motherboard box, with a couple of bad mainboards and a Socket 8 board with a Pentium Pro 200 -My Spare CPU collection, a couple 370 cpus and a bunch of socket 7s -A big box like 1'x2'x1' full of new ink for my Apple Stylewriter 2500 Note: Please ask any questions, most if not all items are for sale.

ToddRe:My Hardware
Are you joining a cult and selling all your hardware? lol j/k As far as towers go, do you have anything around 1.5 GHz or faster? BTW, I count roughly 22 computers in all the photos.

BrandonRe:My Hardware
My machines: 1. Athlon 2. Asus EEE 701 (On the scanners) 3. PowerMac 5500 4. PowerMac 8500 "Nitro" 5. PowerMac 8500 (2) (Ripped up next to the scanners) 6. Compaq Armada E500 7. HP 486 (66MHz) 8. Compaq 486 (33Mhz) 9. Compaq Presario 1232 (Cyrix Media GX) 10. iMac G3 400Mhz Indigo 11. HP Minitower (P3-700) 12. Compaq Deskpro 2000 13. CompaQ Deskpro 2000 (painted red) 14. IBM PC 350 (P200MMX) 15. Dell Celeron D Mobo in HP Tower case 16. IBM Thinkcentre (478, stock 2.4 P4, I installed a Celeron 1.7) 17. Custom Core 2 Duo 1.8 (Blue case next to IBM) 18. HP Presario P3 19. Micro-ATX Cube Athlon 850 20. Epson 286 21. Gateway G6-333c 22. Gateway P3 case, with HP P3 mobo 23. Dell Case (mobo died) 24. Dell Case (mobo died, lol Dells suck) 25. ABS case with a Super 7 Mainboard and K6-2 400 CPU 26. Gateway g6-400 not pictured: 27. Gateway Solo 5300 (p3-700, I loan to my sister) 28. IBM thincentre (loan to my sister) 29. Dell P4 3.8Ghz (loan to brother) 30. Parts HP laptop (some good DDR2 ram and decent keyboard, bad mobo) 31. Parts IBM (good DDR RAM, bad mobo) 32. My Macbook Now on to your towers question, I have many. It all depends on what you want, It would probably be easiest to sell just a mobo, ram, and cpu, if thats OK with you, because of the cost of shipping, hell you could drive up sometime and look before you buy if you want, anyways options I have for you: IBM case a little paint splatered, small PSU, 2 DDR slots, and socket 478 IBM nice case, standard PSU, 4 DDR slots and socket 478 Dell Mobo and Celeron D (skt478), 2 DDR slots, no-AGP, would sell cheap ECS motherboard with 2 DDR2 slots and AGP slot, Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8Ghz I could include a 40GB HDD with any set for a little extra. As far as the DDR boards go, the most RAM I can offer is 512MB times the number of slots, and the 478 CPUs I have are Celeron 1.7, Pentium 4 2.6 and 3.2

ToddRe:My Hardware
Unfortunately, Celerons are rather slow for me. Compared to benchmarks on P3s, they are about the same. :P The Core 2 Duo mobo sounds pretty nice. I don't really have any cases for them though I could buy or build some. :P I can't really pay for them at the moment because I don't have a job but I'll have a work study come fall.

BrandonRe:My Hardware
Well for ECS motherboard with 2 DDR2 slots and AGP slot, Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8Ghz and a 1GB DDR2 533Mhz stick of ram, I figure $100 is a fair price, but of course it is able to be bargined. If you want a case, I could add one, but it probably would be too nice looking and would take shipping way up.

ToddRe:My Hardware
$100 is definitely fair. I'd trade with you but I don't have much of anything of equal or greater value that I'm selling. I have a lot of older hardware (mainly parts though) and mainly for laptops.

BrandonRe:My Hardware
I have my Armada E500, got anything that would work with it?
2009-08-018:57 AM

ToddRe:My Hardware
I have an E500 too. I have a CD-ROM for it but I'm sure it already comes with that. Mine doesn't really have much and the battery doesn't even last 30 minutes. :P

BrandonRe:My Hardware
Have any Laptop RAM? My E500 has a DVD-ROM, with no button. How much would you want for your E500? A parts laptop wouldn't be a bad idea.
2009-08-0111:48 AM

ToddRe:My Hardware
I still use my E500 though since it's currently the only computer that reads floppy disks. :P The floppy drive in my PC doesn't read floppies. As for RAM, I'd have to look around but I know I have 2 1-gig sticks of DDR (or DDR2?) for a laptop but they don't fit any laptop I have. I have some spare RAM cards lying around but nothing extravagant (i.e. just 64 MB or around that area). For laptops to sell, I have a Dell Inspiron (P2) and Compaq Armada 3500 (P2). There's an old Compaq Armada 1580CT but the screen isn't working too well on it. I also have some old hard drives but not too big in size (e.g. 300-500 MB). I also have some old hardware like part of the motherboard for an NEC Versa V/50 (with A/C adapter), some old removable floppy drives (Dell, NEC, etc.). If you want, I can build an inventory of all the hardware I have for sale.

BrandonRe:My Hardware
Yeah why not, I have so much I couldn't list it all, so i took pics. Really any member in the US should list hardware they would like to trade/sell.

Wow, nice rack, Brandon :P All I have is: 1. pcspecialist.co.uk 2.2GHz laptop (main computer) 2. Custom built P3 (used to be main computer, but is physically and virtually clogged up with crap - it's too loud and slow) 3. Advent 7090 laptop (no hard drive, no battery, runs puppy linux from a USB drive) 4. iPAQ rx3715 PDA (great little PDA, but Pocket PC 2003 ruins it. Still waiting for the stable linux release)

BrandonRe:My Hardware
I have a couple PDAs in the desk that my Athlon is on, 2 Zire 31s and a Lifedrive, I'm thinking an iPod touch will be my next PDA, when I pay off my Macbook.
2009-08-011:03 PM

ToddRe:My Hardware
The reason I still use a PDA instead of the iPod Touch is because I can still find free apps for Palm PDAs. ;)
2009-08-029:26 AM

BrandonRe:My Hardware
Good point, but the Palms are getting old so are either used or expensive for the features. They don't have a good multimedia app. Maybe palm will make a webOS PDA? I'd probably buy one.

SonicBritRe:My Hardware
Wow Brandon that is one awesome collection I wish I could say I have one like that but sadly I dont (one day MWAAHAHAH), I have about 5 computers combined with all my misc stuff.
2009-08-0310:35 AM

BrandonRe:My Hardware
Its taken me 5 years to collect it, and a couple thousand dollars, but most of it was given to me for working on other computers, or just because it was too old.
