aguma | Spark OSI've decided that GUI's aren't really of any use, because who uses DOS anyway, and if you do have a special reason to use DOS, you probably will just use Win 3.1 or something like that :P
So I'm writing an OS! Again! But this time I have a better idea of how things are supposed to work, plus I'm not using Bran's [Badly Written] Tutorial Kernel so I'll actually UNDERSTAND it. Oh, and this time I'm going to write my own bootloader. But you never knew about my previous attempt at an OS so...never mind. :)

SonicBrit | Re:Spark OSBoot loaders are fun, you can do a lot with 510 bytes.
You going to use FAT12/16 as the File System? if so you should look at freedos's boot loader that should give you some idea how to read a file.
If not what will you use? | 2009-06-10 | 10:41 PM |
