Brandon | TriBootYesterday I finally successfully installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my Mac, without breaking Windows (well I broke Windows first on purpose :P)
So I now have:
-MacOS X 10.5.6
-Ubuntu 9.04
-Windows XP Pro
All installed and working. I think that as long as I'm using this laptop, OS X will be my main OS, because in Linux there is a lot of little annoyances, and in about 2 years, 2 months, I'll be off to college and using a different laptop, I'm doubting the quirks will be fixed in time. | 2009-06-01 | 6:02 PM |

Brandon | Re:TriBootI suppose you use BOOT-123 with a legal retail OS X copy? It pisses me off when people pirate OS X, if you don't want to pay, then use Linux | 2009-06-02 | 5:41 PM |
Todd | Re:TriBootI'm too lazy to Google it but how much is a copy of OS X? I know an upgrade to XP is like $100! Plus M$ intentionally takes out features and still wants to make as much as possible with Vista through the Home, Business, Basic, and Premium versions. | 2009-06-02 | 10:39 PM |
SonicBrit | Re:TriBootI got my copy when compusa was closing down, I think I got it at $90, its normally $129. | 2009-06-03 | 12:15 PM |
