rCX | I need a GUI...Since I am too lazy to try the hundreds of DOS GUI's out there; Does anyone know of a open-source GUI that allows users to...
* Browse all files on a DOS machine
* Open/Save text files
* Run EXE and COM files
* Run or edit BAT files
* Allows user created shortcuts on a desktop (like in Windows)
...?
Thanks | 2009-05-11 | 9:36 PM |

rCX | Re:I need a GUI...Unfortunately oZone doesn't do the desktop icons. I'll have to try Seal2.

Todd | Re:I need a GUI...You could try Blue. That has a text editor and desktop as well as a drag-and-drop file manager. | 2009-05-11 | 10:26 PM |

pharoah | Re:I need a GUI...GEM works pretty well for this kind of stuff & it's fast even on older machines. | 2009-05-12 | 6:19 AM |
Brandon | Re:I need a GUI...GEM is probably your best bet at the moment, Fun500 5 should meet all of that by GUI Awards :P | 2009-05-12 | 1:44 PM |

pharoah | Re:I need a GUI...I think bet = beat here :).
By the way, it would be weird if bet were the past tense of beat. | 2009-05-12 | 4:01 PM |
