BrandonAMD Fanboy
I started building computers myself a few years ago, and my first build was had an Intel Core 2 Duo E4300, about a year later, I had money and wanted to give AMD a spin, so I ended up with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 Black Edition. I wasn't sure about AMD, but anymore its all I see myself buying, do you guys have any opinion?

I like Intel better. It's more lightweight and has better performance. Slightly. If you don't believe me go to http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2164

AMD CPUs are cooler and tend to give you more for your money. I have both, and I can get out the stats if you want? Idk what you mean by lightweight? And better performance? Sure Intel has the fastest, but they are more expensive. AMD is more for your money.

I have to agree with Brandon on the "chunkiness" front, CPUs all look relatively the same (that is, when you actually see them, which isn't often(.
