BrandonBrowser Wars
We all know they are on. So many browsers are around, like: IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and many others. It should shape up nicely, better browsers for the end user. I personally started in IE6, then went to Firefox 1.5, then 2, and 3. But, at school I'm forced to run Windows, and quite like Chrome. At home, I run Firefox 3 on everything (Win,Mac,Linux). But I find in Mac OS, I get a lot of strange errors, so I have been waiting for Chrome for Mac, right now, as of today, I'm trying Mozilla Camino (a Mac Browser based on the Firefox rendering engine). So for the time being, I fly the Mozilla flag into battle, how about you?

I'm a big fan of Firefox. I use it at home and run PortableFirefox on the college computers.

I love Firefox! Especially their ease of use and the browser's infinite capabilities! In IE, I hate how I can't turn off JavaScript unless I restart the browser or how I'm forced to use the IE theme. :P When I was a wee lad, I surfed the web using IE5 and because of it's poor handling of JavaScript popups as well as its poor customization, my Dad had me use Opera. Opera was fine until I got annoyed when certain pages would cause it to crash (they probably fixed it by now). Plus the banner on their browser bar was a little annoying. It was a good browser but it was just a little slow (then again, I was using a Pentium II). I tried Netscape and thought it was neat but I later started on Mozilla. Then when Phoenix came out, I used that since it was small and light, then into the Firefox era. ;)

Yeah so started with IE 2 (which came with windows 95), at college we used netscape 2. Used IE mostly right through to 6, then jumped ship onto firebird/fox, at work I have opera, safari and chrome installed (for testing), but I use firefox for most of my browsing.
