Brandon | What hardware are you?In theory, I'm handing you $500 to build a computer that suits you. You can use nothing you already have, you must buy it all somewhere where it can be reproduced (I could make another for the same $500). Please put some work into this. I might hand out some badges :)
PS: I'm gonna submit one as well.
EDIT: I should specify, you have nothing to begin with you need monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers (well I guess you don't need a speakers)
BTW: You can Either find it for sale online, or piece it together from stuff online.
Desktops,Laptops, all-in-ones anything is accepted
EDIT2: Feel free to leave out shipping cost, just worry about making the system and software equal $500 | 2009-03-14 | 2:22 PM |
pharoah | Re:What hardware are you?I'd buy a large box of telephone relays on ebay and some spools of hookup wire. Also, a bunch of 3x5 cards, a hole punch, and some random hardware. I'd grab a string of old-school white incandescent christmas tree lights to build the output. If I could, I'd find a teletype that I could buy with the remaining money.
This is old school. | 2009-03-14 | 3:03 PM |
