Here's my first screenshot of my distro: http://brandoncornell.com/images/PnxLnxS1.jpg I still need to know what you think we should have app-wise? The size is at 1.57GB now, my goal is about 1.5, and I think I have some to remove still, so anything you'd like to see added? Any comments?

Looks good. Do you have gcc and other development tools on there? Also what about dosbox, dosemu etc..?

BrandonRe:Screenshot
GCC is there Added DOSBox + DOSEmu (many machines of this age still run dos apps as a job)

It looks good. It reminds me a little of Ubuntu (look and feel) with a hint of DSL/DCL (i.e. the CPU gauge). It's starting to look like a nice distro. Will it be small as well? Like are we aiming for something like DSL or just something like Puppy for older PCs?

BrandonRe:Screenshot
Well, I'm not so concerned about ISO size. I want it to fit on a CD, but after that, I don't care. But it obviously will be targeted at older PCs, especially those with 128MB RAM, and P2 or P3s. As you can see in the screen shot, with Firefox open only 90MB RAM is used.

ToddRe:Screenshot
I don't think he put in GNOME. He said he put in other tools (LXpanel, PCmanFM, IceWM).
are you using Gnome for this distro? why not xfce?
GNOME?XFCE? lol Don't make me laugh. I don't really use a DE, I use IceWM as a WM, PCmanFM as the Desktop, and LXpanel for panels, together, they act as a DE.
did you call it bison?
WTF? Why would I call it Bison? That wasn't even in the recommendations. I think we have decided on Pheonix Linux.
do the buttons glow when you got your mouse over 'em?
Yeah the buttons "glow", well change to blue anyways.

Re:Screenshot
Like I read every thread. Bison, you called it strong and sturdy. There is a bison background. or some other bison-ish creature.
