BrandonI miss Compaq computers
Some of the best computers I've seen in design other than Apple is Pentium type class Compaqs. For example, I have a lot of computers and a little desk space so designs like the[url=http://www.recycledgoods.com/images/s_p_25230_1.jpg] Presario 2255[/url] are nice because the speakers are built in, I don't like having to deal with external speakers. Another design, I liked was my Compaq 386/486, idiot I am, I threw it away, anyways it was a classic Mac clone design, everything was in one, really a space saver, and something I miss. I'm not sure what is the matter, I didn't ever like beige, but I'm starting to think taking one of those old cases, gutting it and putting in a LCD and a MicroATX mobo, would be a sweet machine. (Maybe a new nvidia Ion mobo, so It would have low power consumption, and graphics power.		2009-02-066:02 PM

I reassembled an old Tandy and built a LEGO case for it. It was sweet until I took it apart it. Cool, I was thinking I might do that with my thin client, I will need a slightly larger case, because the one it has is set up for this super low profile ram it came with. And because its a thin client, there really wouldn't he an issue of heat that I would worry about with most systems.		2009-02-078:28 AM

Thin Clients will work perfectly. My Tandy didn't even have a fan since the CPU was a low 60 MHz Cyrix DLC386.		2009-02-0710:00 AM
