I love Palm PDAs, my first PDA was a Zire 31, and I got a used Lifedrive which I would use if my macbook wasn't so damn fast. Anyways their OS is getting old, so I was happy to see their new WebOS. Then Apple wanted to ruin it and sue for Multi-touch patent infringement. WTF were they thinking? Apple suing Palm, a company with years in the business and definitely many patents of their own? I love Palm PDAs too. I still use my Tungsten T. I love their Zire 72 models. I even have an old Palm Pilot. They are really nice and convenient too. Sucks that Apple's trying to put them out of business.		2009-01-295:49 PM

I have a Palm V (which is really old, but works) The problem with Palm is they built it for a pupose to be an organiser, but because devices now adays are expected to be so much more they are having to move in a different direction. Which I dont necessarily see as a bad thing. The problem with patents is patenting something that has prior art, it used to be you had to be unique, but nowadays the patent office is too overworked, so they are not consitant in looking up for prior art, and pretty much it takes lawsuits to get patents revoked. (Sad state of afairs really since it was designed to protect the small businesses that had good ideas from larger corperations stealing their idea. But now its used as a tool for large corperations to prevent anyone else from entering a market.)		2009-01-296:17 PM
