DOSBox Ubuntu keyboard handler i have Ubuntu 8.10 and i installed DOSBox. The keys don't work. i used the Ctrl-F1 keyboard mapper utility (Clicked save aswell) but didn't work. People say it stops working when people upgrade Ubuntu to 8.10. DOSEMU won't run (i click the icon and nothing happens) and everything else is waay to hard to get up and running. Have any of you ever had this problem? Have any of you solved it?

Re:DOSBox Ubuntu keyboard handler you need to get root priviliges to run dosemu that's why the icon doesn't work. maybe you should just switch back to windows if you're having so much trouble figuring all that out...

All you have to do is change usescancodes in your dosbox.conf (probably /home/username/dosbox.conf) to false... Re:DOSBox Ubuntu keyboard handler This is one of the reasons why I love linux, its so community orientated, and whilst the are some jerks that always say read the man pages (man pages are a joke), users that actually tell you how to fix it are great.
