Brandon | Wisent ProgrammersIn Wisget we will have categories of packages. For example:
-Utility
-System
-Office
-Network/Internet
-Multimedia
-Graphics
-Games
So I propose every 6 months we have a Wisent release. And each category will have a leader, who picks the best packages and decides which will be included by defualt. Each category will have a size limit for the base download.
I also propose that we aim to get Wisent-Core (Titan and Wisget) done by Christmas. (So on christmas break we can make apps).
My final proposal is that our first Wisent release is schelduled for early 2009, probably late January.
So does anyone have any ideas of what they might make for Wisent? If you make a lot in one category you will proably get to run it.
I plan to make Proobs -a application runner, similar to the one in Rush. And Welcome, an app that shows noticications, the date and time, and maybe the latest RSS news. | 2008-10-19 | 9:45 AM |

I'm up for doing anything. I'd quite like to make a full-featured graphics editing program. There are a few nice image processing algorithms I could implement. | 2008-10-19 | 12:47 PM |
Brandon | Re:Wisent ProgrammersWell the SDK is in FB so you have to use it. | 2008-10-19 | 1:53 PM |

Todd | Re:Wisent ProgrammersI meant to ask, for the SDK, did you want me to implement a function to check if a button is pressed? Or do you just want graphics? | 2008-10-19 | 4:59 PM |
Brandon | Re:Wisent ProgrammersYeah, we need the function, did you every use Viper? Its kind of the basic idea of what the SDK should work like.
BTW: I'm posting on my New Duron 750! | 2008-10-19 | 8:35 PM |
