You might remember VonGodric, creator of WizGui, FBide, and SolarOS. He e-mailed me a new GUI he's been working on in FB called "Zine." I'm uploading the demo he sent me but it's pretty awesome! It's Windows-based so DOSBox is not needed. http://www.sixbynine.net/filequick/95

BrandonRe:Zine
No realy, It would be a flamewar. You better get a Blog Olympics Partner soon, they are running out.
2008-08-176:09 PM

ToddRe:Zine
Question is, who'd start it? Careful how you answer that. I've got an idea for a partner.
2008-08-176:15 PM

BrandonRe:Zine
Well simple, I would. Because the answer to your question, isn't what you would want to hear. PS: Murray and Jason have teamed up.
2008-08-176:32 PM

ToddRe:Zine
But listen to what you're saying. Even then you're angered to prove your point.
2008-08-176:36 PM

BrandonRe:Zine
I you would like me to be nice and best "buds" with you. Then take back what you said about it being my fault everyone left and that you hated me and so did everyone. Well you can't it will never be the same. Especially with how little you are around.

ToddRe:Zine
Most of the time, you are really cool and you have some pretty awesome ideas. Then there are some times when you can just be a cocky know-it-all. You can't let power consume you. You were never like this before. More than 99% of the time you can really be cool but you sometimes act like the high-and-mighty admin. I don't go to many sites where the administration likes to prove their power by saying, "You want me to ban you? Who's the admin around here?" That is corruption and the side effects of power-hungry tyrants. All I'm saying is that you should try to level with everyone. Yes, I don't like Apple. I don't like using Macs but I don't rub it in people's faces. I try to be understanding. Sometimes you just keep hazing on me because I use Windows. So what? Big deal. I use Linux too. I don't go around calling you a "fruit cup" for liking Apple products. I don't care if you use Apple and post how great it is. But if someone says they like Windows or they hate Apple, suck it up. Fighting just causes more problems. Flaming and arguing gets no one anywhere. Plus I really underestimated you. "I didn't wanna tell you because you'd flame." How old am I? I'm a legal adult and would I flame about a GUI you were helping to make? You really need to grow up. You'll always encounter people that'll say, "I don't like Apple," or "I hate Windows." What are you going to do? Argue with them and beat them up til they say what you want to hear? All I'm saying is you got to come to terms with it and not rub it in people's faces that they like something you don't. It becomes irritating and annoying. And it doesn't make you look any better. All I'm saying is that you just ease up on showing your power and try to level with people a little bit more.

BrandonRe:Zine
You apple arguement always falls through, because I do not use Apple products! I have one Apple thats 10 years old sitting in my collection of 20 other MS and Linux Computers. I respect Apple, a hell of a lot more than Windows and in some ways more than Linux, I'll give you that. And the almighty admin gargabe? lol Have I banned anyone? How old am I compared to some of you? What keeps me in charge? I didn't want to start a "flame war", were all of our arguements seem to do, but I guess we are at it anyways?
2008-08-177:06 PM

ToddRe:Zine
I'm not trying to start a flame war. I'm not trying to do any such thing. All I'm saying is that I thought you would've grown up. Whenever a topic or post is brought up about Microsoft or Apple, you say I'm an "M$ lover." What if I said you were a "fruit cup"? I would never call anyone any name. I would never deliberately haze on them or do something in such a way to degrade or threaten them. Remember JacobPalm.dk? Did Jacob ever act sarcastic in forums? Did he ever say, "Brandon you better enter or I'm removing you from the members list."? Or did he ever say anything negative like, "You suck." or "That's a piece of shit." It reminds me of my Dad's friend who lives in California and had a friend who worked for Apple for a short while. The guy went in and had an interesting idea and after giving an almost hour-long presentation, Steve Jobs just sat there unimpressed and said, "Was that supposed to impress me?" It's people like that that I don't like for their crude understanding and arrogant treatment of others.
2008-08-177:14 PM

BrandonRe:Zine
No Tood, I don't remember JacobPalm.dk. :( Anyways I'm not Jacob and I'm going to be critisizing, full of ego, and a royal ass, it comes down to, can you deal with it, or do you want to leave.
2008-08-177:29 PM

ToddRe:Zine
Well I am debating that. Because I don't need you making cocky remarks at my expense and talking shit about me to others. I hung around this long because I thought you might've grown up and become a little more understanding and nicer to people. I guess I was wrong. I don't need to hear you argue, whine and complain when someone disagrees with you. And I especially don't need to hear you say, "M$ lover" and cocky remarks to piss me off. I practically do everything for you. I made you a co-admin and then handed you the GUI blog. I could've easily said no and called you a wanna-be but I was nice and let you take it over. I let you review GUIs on my GUI reviews site. All I get from you are arrogant remarks like, "I'm better at everything and you suck." It's not that you hate what other people like. It's that you hate people that like what you don't. I really thought you'd outgrow your arrogance except in jokes.
2008-08-178:04 PM

BrandonRe:Zine
Can you find were I said that? This is were problems begin rmember last time you got all pissed at me? No good happens. Take a good break and think about it.
2008-08-178:18 PM

ToddRe:Zine
It doesn't matter. I'm just saying to please ease up on stuff like that. It doesn't hurt if you do it every now and again for play and joking, but it just starts to get irritating after a while. I'm just saying that if you try being a little more understanding and nicer, you might have more members. People will say that you're a good admin and tell others about your site. On Xeta Space, I try my best to show an understanding and concern for my members. They appreciate it and tell it to me as well as others. I sometimes see posts on other sites saying that the Xeta Space members care and show kindness and concern towards others. I'd just like to see this site become a community that cares so even more people will join. But it's up to you since you are admin. I will take a break though and see how I feel. I just think there are some things that can be improved.
2008-08-178:26 PM

BrandonRe:Zine
I will try to be less "admin"y about things, since the site started I was wondering is someone else should realy be admin, but no one stood out as a clear answer. And about the GUI Olympics, I was realy just trying to get you movitated to make a GUI. Your site hasn't been updated in years, M-OS is abandoned, and you haven't entered any contests. 14 year old Todd Suess would be *beeping out negative words* (Not happy). Who was the boy who cried "I'll never adandon?", I just want to help you see it happen.

ToddRe:Zine
Thank you Brandon. No seriously, I know you would've gotten upset and probably started flaming with me but that was a long time ago. I didn't expect you to be as understanding and calm as you are. I think that's what makes a good admin. I know I have definitely changed my interests. Since I got QB45 back up, I felt strangely compelled to make a GUI. I will give FB a shot since QB isn't cooperating with what I want to do. I'll give that GUI a shot and try it out. I will be moving in to college on Tuesday so I don't know what'll happen but when I get free time I'll try working on it. I think you're a good admin for the blog since you definitely are motivated and I know running this site and making things interesting isn't easy. That's the main reason the blog was pretty static for a while until you picked up after me. I think contests are a good idea but just as long as they aren't to discourage losers or non-winners from trying again. Encouragement and motivation are always good to give someone. Thanks again for understanding man. Like I said, you are pretty awesome most of the time. We all make mistakes (even me and even Hank Scorpio) but as long as we try to fix the problems, we're on the road to success. :)
