If this were a banking website, it'd be good to make the cookies short but when I rebuilt QB45.com, people told me they wanted the cookies to last for months so they won't have to login as much. | pharoah | Re:More secure!Well, I used the original expire time. My browser seems to think the cookie expires in September and not in 10 years.
Keep in mind that you won't notice this until you login again and the cookie expiration is reset. I didn't do anything to change PHP's garbage collection yet, so it may be that the session won't be valid that long. I'll look into it. | 2011-03-21 | 5:51 PM |
