ksrubuntu - remove desktop from ~/
Brandon, do you know how I go about deleting the desktop folder from my home directory? It keeps coming back in a very annoying and Windows-like way.		2010-09-2810:17 PM

I'd guess that it'd have to go with whatever DE you are using, unless maybe it's in FSTAB or something, have you checked  the Ubuntu forums.

Problem solved - I edited ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs so that my desktop dir is ~/.desktop (i.e. hidden). I just didn't want it cluttering up my home directory.		2010-09-3010:47 PM
