Brandon | Re:Qeader - the fastest QML browser on EarthAlthough fast, it's lacking many features for example, the width should be forced, and forms, download links, and color are not supported. I also noticed that QML-OS doesn't render properly. | 2010-05-23 | 5:30 PM |
HorvatM | Re:Qeader - the fastest QML browser on Earth the width should be forced
That's what the "80 cols." button is for. I'm still leaving it to the user to decide how they should view pages.
and forms
Forms will be added when there's a significant reason to add them. You can search with CURSOR from within Qeader anyway.
download links
Supported in 1.1. | 2010-05-24 | 10:17 AM |
Brandon | Re:Qeader - the fastest QML browser on EarthMy rendering is fine, Pharoah often uses CQML to test his code, and this isn't a discussion of my browser, it's a thread were I am suggesting input on yours. If you would like me to comment on your projects, I'd apreciate not comming back with "well yours sucks too"
Choosing to not add features because they aren't popular isn't a very future friendly plan. CQML hasn't had a release in two years, and the engine still runs strong, even though the scrolling system sucks (Yeah, I'll admit it), CQML is the most advanced QML browser in terms of functionality. | 2010-05-24 | 10:54 AM |
trolly | Re:Qeader - the fastest QML browser on Earthbrandon, you forget Qstep3's and Asgard's QML they also include all qml specs (else hspan and refresh). The forms, button, and links are rendered inside the point. i think it's the only point&click qml browser
I think you should'n avoid to implement function because it's not popular (if it's a little hard to implement it, it could be a good chalenge to improve your skill)
PS: there is the last version of my qml browser for the .net framework (work on windows, and other system thanks to mono). it's written in c#
