| Brandon | Re:The nameIn 4th grade I first experimented with HTML with the free web-host "Expages" it was simple and dummied down,and there was tons of sites taking every possible name. I needed my site to have a simple rememberable name, and kept trying names, but they were all taken. Fun500 seemed simple and easy to remember and to my surprise it wasn't registered, so my first web-site was at http://expage.com/fun500 .Anyways, I learned about Graphics and Screen modes from a tutorial on Pete's QB Site and needed a name for my new GUI project. Never being good with the naming, I chose Fun500, it was unique and easy to remember. Now It's Fun500 just because it has been for 5 years and in my mind it's mentally associated with the GUI to the point that the name isn't words, it's the GUI. | 2010-04-24 | 8:33 PM |
