BigBadKing | About Making GUIsis there a programming language here that all the guis must be made
in or are all programming languages accessable for making a gui and
making it appear here? and, is TurboC also allowed? | 2010-04-04 | 4:48 AM |
HorvatM | Re:About Making GUIsWell, the site is dedicated to QuickBASIC/FreeBASIC GUIs, but folks do some things in assembly language. I don't know about C though. I suppose it would be OK if some of it is BASIC. I'll leave that to Brandon. | 2010-04-04 | 8:10 AM |
Brandon | Re:About Making GUIsIf you write a GUI for DOS in C, you just keep us updated on it in the forum, but to be in the database or enter GUI Awards, the graphical code to your GUI must be in BASIC. | 2010-04-04 | 8:14 AM |
BigBadKing | Re:About Making GUIsso that means.. (correct me if im wrong):
when submitting a Gui, im allowed to use any language.
when submitting a Gui for the awards, im only allowed to use Basic.
i think i got it... | 2010-04-04 | 8:49 AM |
Brandon | Re:About Making GUIsIn order to have a GUI in the list or GUI Awards, it has to be in BASIC. But in the forums you can post about a GUI in any language. | 2010-04-04 | 1:14 PM |
BigBadKing | Re:About Making GUIsso, i have to rewrite my GUI.. thanks for letting me know! | 2010-04-04 | 1:25 PM |
Brandon | Re:About Making GUIsIf you can be crafty, then you could use C to make back-end stuff, and then use BASIC to make the GUI. | 2010-04-04 | 2:01 PM |
