atrocityDOS Doors Update
Here's the current screenshot from where I am.  Doesn't look like a lot has changed, but a TON of stuff has taken place "under the hood".  Since the last build:  Made dragging work only when clicking inside the caption and not the whole window. Started work on a compiler for it so it can run compiled scripts. Tons of bug-fixes. And added the ability to run the compiled programs. :D In the image above, the only program that is a pre-compiled script is the "About" window.  The other two (Uptime and Statistics) are built-in, thought, in theory, nothing is stopping me from making them into pre-compiled scripts, too.  Just need to get a few more primitives added (such as drawing routines) and I'll be good to go with those! You can drag/drop windows in real time and everything updates even when dragging (watch my previous video to see as I drag the statistics window around and watch the cursor coordinates update in real time as I drag it) and dragging a window overtop another doesn't stop the windows below from updating in real time, either! Anyway, like I said, LOTS of work under the hood, and it's a pile of crap on the back end, but since it's 100% FreeBASIC only (not libraries or anything), not bad so far! The USE button at the bottom does nothing yet, either.  I plan on making the taskbar it's own separate program eventually, also, but the clock DOES update.

Have you had a chance to test on any vintage hardware? I'm curious as to how one would keep up with your eye candy.

I have a dedicated Dell Optiplex GX520 with FreeDOS, but nothing "OLD" to test it on, haha! I mean, honestly, the video card has 8MB of RAM dedicated to it, and you can see in the pic that I'm using like 6MB of normal RAM for the window DC's total, so I couldn't imagine it would hurt too bad. Want to try it on something old you have?

Actually the oldest machine I have at college with me is a Pentium 3, so it'll be a while until I can test anything.
